TSDALE, Arizona -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Atronic and IGT
(NYSE: IGT) today announced a partnership to co-develop a fully integrated
solution for Atronic's Server Assisted Gaming - SAG(TM) product line. The
solution utilizes IGT's AVP(R) game platform and will be fully integrated
to be interoperable with its server-based open networks.
Presented in a sleek new cabinet, the solution will be unveiled at this
year's Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas. Atronic games featuring this
technology will be shown at the Atronic booth (1385), as well as at the IGT
booth (915) in Atronic's new e-motionSC(TM) cabinet. The new box is an
upgrade to the current e-motion(TM) product with a new look, redesigned
player interface and future-proof technology to accommodate Atronic's
Server Assisted Gaming - SAG(TM) solutions.
This partnership is one step toward providing casino operators a
seamless solution for server-assisted gaming. The co-developed solution is
the first fully integrated one of its kind, providing operators with a
mechanism to deliver the complete suite of server-assisted functionality to
the casino floor.
"We are excited about this cooperation which will enable our North
American customers to receive cutting-edge Server Assisted Gaming
technology from Atronic," said Gerhard Burda, CEO of Atronic. "IGT's
technology leadership and vast IP portfolio are set to define a global
industry standard, and we are proud to be part of it from the very
beginning."
"We continue to progress toward our vision becoming reality, with
server-based products of all suppliers working in concert to provide
casino-wide services and solutions," said Steve Morro, COO of IGT. "Our
AVP(R) platform and its integration in Atronic's cabinet, as well as in
IGT's new cabinets, will provide the needed interoperability to drive the
new technology."
