Online Gaming in Comoros

Anjouan Corporate Services Ltd, a representative of the government of Anjouan (one of the islands that make up Comoros), issues online gaming licenses under the auspices of the Betting and Gaming Act of 2005. That law was passed to legalize and regulate all forms of online gaming, including horse and greyhound betting, sports betting, casinos, lottery and bingo. It also established a Gaming Board.

According to the Anjouan Corporate Services, only a fixed fee per year is charged for virtual gaming licenses. Online gaming servers may be located anywhere in the world, and profits may be cleared through Anjouan offshore banks. Only Anjouan companies may be granted licensure, but they may engage in as many different kinds of online gambling promotions and under as many different brand names or web addresses as desired.
