Online Gaming in Morocco

Two separate state-controlled, nationwide sports lottery services offer online access to lottery and sports betting products: Société de Gestion de la Loterie Nationale (Loterie Nationale) and La Marocaine des Jeux et des Sports (MDJS). Outside of these state-run platforms, online gaming in Morocco is not permitted, as there is still no general online gambling law or licensing system and offshore casino and poker sites operate in a legal grey area, with new tax measures targeting winnings rather than formally authorising such operators.
