Online Gaming in Uganda

Uganda permits sports betting that takes place via the internet or mobile phones (SMS) and the current framework allows regulated online betting and gaming activities so long as operators are licensed under the Lotteries and Gaming Act 2016; residents may legally place bets with such licensed operators, while unlicensed offshore sites operate outside the local regulatory perimeter.
