Gaming software developer Atlantic International Entertainment, Ltd. (AIE) announced today plans to change its name to "On-Line Gaming Systems, Inc."
The change has been approved by the company's board of directors and awaits the approval of shareholders at the company's annual meeting in mid-July.
AIE President and CEO Richard A. Iamunno said the new name will be a much better fit. " We now offer a suite of Internet and networked-based products to our target customer base, the established gaming and wagering market," Iamunno said. "The company's name change is a logical step to better reflect our rapidly growing presence in this arena.
"The company's gaming products have begun to generate very positive responses from the marketplace as evidenced by recent announcements of significant license agreements. The new corporate name, On-line Gaming Systems, Inc., a more telling reflection of our product offerings, will better support our ambitious sales efforts. We aim to become a preeminent supplier of software systems to the potentially very large online gaming market."
