Ainsworth Announces $10 Mill Loss

Ainsworth Game Technology revealed a $10.78 million loss for the six months ending December 2007, compared with a $17.73 million loss for the first half of the year. Revenue for the games supplier rose by nearly five per cent in the period, to $21.65 million.

International revenue accounted for 62 per cent of total revenue in the period, which represented a year-on-year increase of 71 per cent.

A statement from Ainsworth said that it is confident the broadening of its product range under the revamped product strategy and current product performance will deliver increased revenue in the short term.
