Alderney's Gambling Control Commission last week awarded an Associate Certificate to skill-based games provider GameAccount. The certification means that Alderney-based gambling operators can now use GameAccount's software and systems.
GameAccount says Rank Group's online gambling division Blue Square will become the first Alderney-licensed operator to launch GameAccount's games in the coming the weeks.
BlueSquare is the third online gambling operator this year to join the GameAccount network. Other members of the network include William Hill, BoyleSports, PaddyPower, Sportingbet Europe, Stan James and Gala Coral.
"We're open for business to all Alderney-licensed operators seeking to add our unique games to their gaming portfolio," said Dermot Smurfit, GameAccount's chief operating officer. "Our software platform and associated technical infrastructure is now compatible with the majority of white-listed licensing jurisdictions relied upon by the major regulated eGaming operators in Europe."
Parlay Entertainment, a provider of online bingo software and systems, also obtained approval from the Alderney Gambling Control Commission last week. The Commission granted an eGambling operator's license to BingoPalace.co.uk, a brand operated by Azul Europe that uses Parlay software.
"It has become quite clear that Alderney is attracting more than our fair share of the world's leading bingo operators," said Robin Le Provost, Alderney's head of E-commerce development. "Parlay and Bingo Palace were obvious omissions which we are delighted to see rectified."
Parlay has additional licenses and certifications in Malta, the UK and the Isle of Man.
