American Bettors’ Voice and Analytics.Bet launch initiative for regulators and policy makers

13 March 2026
(PRESS RELEASE) -- American Bettors’ Voice, the leading advocacy group for U.S. sports bettors, and Analytics.Bet, the premier provider of advanced sports betting education and research, announced a strategic partnership to launch a comprehensive educational initiative that aims to educate and engage regulators, lawmakers, and problem gaming groups.
Starting in March 2026, Analytics.Bet will offer its flagship "Foundations of Sports Betting" lectures to a select audience of U.S. gaming regulators, problem gambling organizations, and legislative bodies, including members of the National Council of Legislators from Gaming States, without charge.
Since the repeal of PASPA in 2018, the U.S. sports betting landscape has expanded rapidly. This growth has highlighted a critical need for deeper understanding of the industry's mechanics among those who oversee it. This initiative aims to bridge that gap by providing key stakeholders with a rigorous, technically accurate understanding of betting markets and the consumer experience.
This partnership recognizes the clear need to ensure that regulators and others within the sports betting ecosystem understand the reality of what is being offered to the American public. Analytics.Bet’s educational products are the gold standard in this space, and both American Bettors’ Voice and Analytics.Bet believe this curriculum is essential for anyone tasked with overseeing or regulating the industry.
"You cannot effectively regulate what you do not fully understand," said Richard Schuetz, CEO of American Bettors’ Voice. "For too long, the conversation around sports betting policy has been dominated by marketing rhetoric. By arming policymakers with the mathematical and operational realities of the market, we are empowering them to create a framework that is truly fair and safe for the American consumer."
The "Foundations of Sports Betting" course moves beyond surface-level industry talking points to explore the mathematical and operational realities of sportsbooks. By equipping regulators and responsible gaming advocates with this knowledge, the partnership aims to foster a fairer, more transparent, and sustainable betting environment.
"A well-informed regulatory environment isn't just good for betters — It's good for the entire industry," said Gadoon Spanky Kyrollos, Founder and Chairman of American Bettors' Voice. "If we want sports betting to thrive as a legitimate, sustainable market in this country, the people writing the rules need to understand the product as well as the people offering it. Our partnership with Analytics.Bet is designed to deliver exactly that."
"Analytics.Bet’s mission is to bring clarity and rigor to an industry often clouded by misconception," said Professor Harry Crane, PhD, instructor at Analytics.Bet and ABV board member. "Our goal is to foster an industry that is sustainable for the long term. By making our coursework available to regulators and responsible gaming leaders, we hope to support data-driven decision-making that ultimately protects the consumer and strengthens the integrity of the market."
The educational series is scheduled to launch in March 2026. Access to the "Foundations of Sports Betting" lectures will be granted to approved entities via a secure portal.
