American Wagering, Inc. Opens Internet Sites in Australia

American Wagering, Inc. (Nasdaq: BETM) announced today the opening of their sports betting office and internet wagering site in Canberra, Australia. With the opening of the office, the company began accepting sports betting wagers in connection with their interactive wagering site.

The Company has begun posting the odds on various sporting events on the Internet. The site and odds can be viewed at Currently, the Company is accepting wagers from Australians by phone and expects to begin accepting wagers over the Internet shortly.
