TrackPower Inc. and Post Time Technologies have signed a three-year exclusive agreement providing archived horseracing video replays for TrackPower viewers. Under the agreement, the two companies will split any revenues from the sale of replays.
The service, expected to be available in March, will enable customers to access the replays using the Internet and WebTV .
"The race replays are an integral part of our interactive PC and WebTV services. This is a great new feature for TrackPower users and should provide significant traffic and revenues," said J. Graham Simmonds, vice president and general manager for TrackPower.
Post Time will provide the necessary software enabling TrackPower users to view the race relays on demand. The company will operate the service from its control center in Vancouver.
TrackPower, Inc. operates a four-channel live horseracing video service for U.S. bettors. Subscribers can wager on the races through Telebet, a licensed telephone wagering service operated by Penn National Gaming, Inc.
