Share prices in Aristocrat Leisure fell eight percent after the Australian slot machine manufacturer predicted this year's earnings would be broadly in line with those of 2007. Analysts, who had forecast a 10 percent rise in net profits for 2008, said the news was "effectively a profit downgrade".
