A bill to appeal the 1-cent tax on charitable bingo cards in Arkansas will be voted on soon by the state’s House of Representatives, according to the Arkansas News Bureau.
Even though various charities support the bill, which is sponsored by Arkansas democratic Tracy Pennartz, it could subtract $1.1 million from state revenue, the news service said.
