Atlantic City Casinos Could See Bankruptcy in New Year

According to the Associated Press, five out of Atlantic City’s 11 casinos could declare bankruptcy in 2009.

Both Resorts Atlantic City and Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc. have missed interest payments, while others struggle to keep up as overall revenue decreased for the second straight year, the news service reported.

Additionally, all major casino projects have ceased, including a $5 billion casino from MGM Mirage along with three other casinos.
