Attendance for Berlin Affiliate Conference up in 2015
30 October 2015
(PRESS RELEASE) -- Delegate attendance for the Berlin Affiliate Conference and the Financial Partners Expo, which took place last week, was up a phenomenal 37% compared to last year. Feedback from both delegates and exhibitors was that the event surpassed all expectations.
Michael Iranyi, Director of Marketing Services at William Hill said: “Participating in the Berlin Affiliate Conference was a great experience. The event was well organised and the affiliates came to the heart of Europe ready to do business. We were very happy to be the platinum sponsor of BAC and look forward to a great 2016.”
The focus behind BAC and FPE this year was to create an environment where delegates from both the gaming and finance sectors were able to effectively network, learn and do business in one location.
“As an affiliate we find these conferences invaluable, BAC provided us with a great opportunity to meet so many global partners, all under one roof enabling us to strengthen existing relationships and make many new ones. The conferences are always lively with plenty of industry expertise and insight provided from the various talks scheduled across the two days. Overall, certainly not an event to be missed by affiliates or operators,” said Anna Woodward, Commercial Manager at Easyodds.com.
With the biggest attendee increase coming from affiliates and introducing brokers, which were up 28% on last year, and the stand space increasing by over 10%, it is no surprise that the conference and showfloor were busier than last year.
“Without doubt, BAC 2015 was a “must attend” conference. Busy and buzzing from start to end, with a wide range of geographically and industry diverse attendees, exhibitors and panels/speakers. It’s an Affiliates conference, by definition, but the opportunity there is far wider than affiliate related,” said Stuart Ballan, Head of Sales, Counting House.
The Berlin Affiliate Conference and the Financial Partners Expo took place on the 22nd-25th October 2015 at the Messe in Berlin.
“I would like to say a massive thank you to all of the BAC and FPE exhibitors, sponsors and speakers, without you the event have not been such a success. To see such a big increase in delegate numbers is great for the industry, and we are looking forward to building on the momentum and putting on a great London Affiliate Conference, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2016,” said Alex Pratt, Head of iGaming Business.
The next iGB Affiliate conference is the London Affiliate Conference, which is taking place on the 4th – 7th February 2015. The conference is free to attend for affiliates and introducing brokers. 2016 also marks the 10 year anniversary of LAC, so it is guaranteed to be the biggest and most exciting affiliate event of the year.
