On Friday British Amusement Catering Trade Association (BACTA) will tell the government about how seaside amusement arcades have struggled with the smoking ban and new gambling legislation.
"If nothing is done then half of the industry could be out of business this year," said BACTA president Nick Harding. "The Gambling Act gives the government flexibility to respond quickly to market forces. We urge them to use that flexibility before businesses start going bust."
