On Tuesday, Bally Technologies Inc. said it has released a new version of its slot management and accounting system that now supports the Microsoft Windows software platform.
The company said SDS Version 11.0 will be submitted to gaming regulators this month and estimates the product will be available this spring.
Tom Doyle, the company’s vice president of product management, said that the new system provides Bally with “a competitive and scalable Microsoft Windows-powered slot management system with a modern scalable architecture” for those who prefer Window-based software.
