Barcrest Group announced yesterday that it has entered an agreement to jointly develop products for the SWP market with FatSpanner, a designer and manufacturer of coin-operated digital entertainment products.
According to a press release, the wholly owned subsidiary of International Game Technology believes this partnership will “will revitalise and reshape the SWP sector.”
“We believe that the combined strengths of the two companies and our shared passion for delivering great games will be a recipe for success in this market sector,” said Tim Kennedy, Barcrest sales and commercial director, in a prepared statement. “We are looking forward to unveiling the first joint developments at the IGE in January 2009.”
