Small businesses, including those in the online gaming industry, now have the opportunity to place advertising banners on the Excite Network for as little as $100. MSN
TM LinkExchange (www.linkexchange.com) will be offering this service, allowing businesses to target audiences through specific categories, including autos, classifieds, education, entertainment, games, money and investment, sports and weather.

"The ability to target potential customers on the Excite Network adds a new dimension to our AdStore service and enables our customers to reach the right audience the first time around."

The Excite Network already posts banners, including those advertising online book stores, credit card companies and online gaming sites. When people search Excite for Games, for example, they can choose from online games like Wheel of Fortune to buying board games to online casino games, and on each page there is a banner advertising something game-related.
LinkExchange's AdStore also enables small businesses to purchase advertising on other sites on the Web, as well as the LinkExchange BannerNetwork, which reaches over 400,000 sites and, according to the
most recent Media Metrix data, reached over 68 percent of Web users in April. These campaigns help small businesses find new customers on the Web and increase their online traffic and sales.
Advertising on AdStore is not difficult. Advertisers select a package ranging from $100 to $1,000 that meets their budget requirements and marketing needs, create an ad banner, send it to LinkExchange and within three business days the campaign can be up and running. Advertisers can analyze campaign results or change their ad at any time.
