Betting Suspension Puts IFA in Difficult Position

The Irish Football Association said it had been put in a "very difficult position" following the suspension of betting on an Irish League match over the weekend. Bookmakers say suspicion was aroused after an "unusual" number of bets were placed on the Glenavon v Armagh City game, which eventually resulted in a 5-0 win for the home team.
