Bingo.com to Integrate Services from InfoSpace.com

16 November 1999
Bingo.com, the city planner of an online bingo community months in the works, announced today its latest building block for achieving a virtual bingo utopia: a partnership with InfoSpace.com.

The two companies signed an agreement to integrate a range of InfoSpace.com's consumer services into Bingo.com's online bingo site at www.bingo.com--a deal that Bingo.com says further promotes its objective of providing Internet users with "a destination site that will be easily recognized as an informative bingo-related home page."

InfoSpace.com, a leading global provider of Internet infrastructure services for consumers, merchants and wireless devices, will provide Bingo.com with access to a wide variety of information and services such as shopping, entertainment, find a friend, chat services and much more. Bingo.com will then have the ability to use any of the services that are of an interest to the registered users of the Bingo.com site.

"Bingo.com is creating a value-oriented product, which is differentiated from what exists currently by providing our registered users a combination of entertainment and community information, all surrounding the Bingo game," Bingo.com President and CEO Shane Murphy said. "Our site will create a detailed database of our registered users and their preferences; we will use this data, along with the information now available to us from InfoSpace.com, to create an entertainment site like no other. This new relationship with InfoSpace.com will provide our users with a variety of tools creating a strong community atmosphere, and we feel this promotes our business direction strongly."
