Up to 70 casinos in Estonia could close in January, reports the Baltic Business News.
Tõnis Rüütel, head of the Estonian Association of Casinos Operators, was quoted by the business news channel saying that casino businesses, like any other industry, are being negatively affected by the global downturn.
“Almost all operators have been losing money for the last two quarters, and the third quarter should be no different,” he added.
