According to the London Times, Camelot Group and the American operators of Powerball have reportedly signed an “exploratory agreement” for a global lottery game.
Camelot, which runs the United Kingdom’s National Lottery, told the Daily Telegraph in September that it was in talks with more than 40 countries about the global lottery and that there have not been discussions about dropping the United Kingdom’s current lottery.
The Times said that Camelot could launch the world’s biggest draw with jackpots totaling more than £250 million.
