Competition is getting fierce in the cyber gaming industry, and operators are finding it necessary to step up their efforts in promotions. And what do they have to show for it? … Girls.
A new online casino called Casino Galaxy has announced that it will sponsor what's being called the first worldwide online casino pageant, the "Miss Casino Galaxy 2000" contest. The winner will receive US$10,000 and a 1-year contract as spokesmodel, representing Casino Galaxy at special events and appearances throughout the world. The winner will be crowned as part of the grand-opening ceremonies for the Casino Galaxy Internet-gaming site, which is due to launch Sept. 6.
Anyone interested in entering the contest has until August 31. Applications can be submitted online or via snail mail. The winner will be decided by audience voting. Semi-finalists will be selected every six weeks. The pageant is open to all single women, worldwide, ages 18-32.
