SomethingGaming Partners L.L.C. has entered into an exclusive agreement with MySpace, the ubiquitous social networking site, the Vegas-based company has announced.
According to the company, which specializes in creating marketing partnerships in the casino gaming, state lottery, and hospitality and travel industries, it intends to create marketing promotions designed to increase the customer databases and house revenues of its United States gaming-resort clients.
The company said it will be able to create promotions that pinpoint exact segments of the casino gaming market using MySpace’s detailed member profile structure.
“Database marketing is paramount for the casino industry, especially in this down economy,” said Jake Kahle, a principal with SomethingGaming Partners, in a prepared statement. “For us to literally be able to drive hundreds of thousands of like-minded gamers to our US casino clients, based on their MySpace preferences, will be an unrivaled ‘across-the-reels’ win.”
