CasinoLive.com Purchases Starbelly Productions

20 July 1999
CasinoLive.com Corp., an online gaming and entertainment company, has acquired 100 percent of Starbelly Productions, Inc., a software company that develops games for Internet casinos.

"The addition of Starbelly to CasinoLive gives us the ability to be first to market with a new generation of gaming software and ensures that CasinoLive will achieve a dominant position in the Internet gaming industry worldwide," said Ross John, Sr., chairman and CEO or CasinoLive.

In 1997, Starbelly developed one of the first Java-based downloadable set of casino games that has grown to be successful in the online casino market. Over 80 casinos use Starbelly's technology.

"With the software developmental abilities provided by Starbelly, and our recent acquisition of Cyberspace Casino Technology Ltd., we believe CasinoLive.com will play a dominant role in Internet gaming as it matures into a $100 billion industry," John said.

The Starbelly development team brings a long list of accomplishments to CasinoLive. In addition to gaming, Starbelly has worked on software development projects for clients such as Price Waterhouse Coopers and Penton Publishing. The company's software is in use every day by hundreds of executives at such Fortune 500 firms as Boeing, Caterpillar, Motorola, Bell Tech and many others.

In October 1999, Starbelly will release Version 2, the new Multiplayer Casino. Version 2 will allow users to play any of 16 casino games and multiple types of slots and bingo.

"Starbelly is committed to continued development of world-class software for the Internet casino industry, and we are proud to welcome them into our company," John said. "No other Internet gaming and entertainment company can match our software development resources."
