For Centrebet International Ltd.'s 2008 financial year, the Australian-based online bookmaker posted a 17 percent higher net profit after tax of 13 million, reports Egoli.com.
The company's managing director, Con Kafataris, told the Australian financial news Web site that the positive results can be attributed to a 25 percent hike in turnover ($1.3 billion Australian dollars) and revenue growth of 6 percent ($62.7 million Australian dollars).
