Charity Bingo to Launch Commemorating Obama's Inauguration

9 January 2009
Kezia Obama, a former wife of President-elect Barack Obama’s late father, is launching a charity bingo game in honor of Mr. Obama's inauguration as the United States' 44th president, the Bracknell Forest Standard reported Friday.

The game, “Mrs. Obama’s Bingo,” will go live on Galabingo.com on Tuesday, Jan. 20, according to the paper, and run through Friday, Jan. 23, raising money for Sue Ryder Care, a healthcare charity based in the United Kingdom. The paper said Gala bingo will donate 10 pence for every £1 in ticket sales spent on the new game.

According to The Daily Mail, Kezia was the first wife of Obama’s father, Barack Obama Sr., who went on to marry twice more before dying in a car crash in 1982.
