Chartwell Technology Inc. is attempting to break into the Asian market by releasing a Chinese language version of its Casino Casino Internet gaming software. This version is virtually identical to the English version, including all of the Java-based parlor games, video poker games and slots.
The Chinese version is fully functional with Cyberboss, Chartwell's casino administration software and CyberBanx, its e-commerce/banking engine. It will be exhibited by Chartwell at the Australasian Gaming
Expo 99 in Sydney, Australia August 22-24. The company is also negotiating alliances to market its software in Australia, because of the sanctioning of online gaming in that country.
In addition to the new version of Casino Casino, the company has developed six new casino games, bringing the amount of games offered 18. Pai Gow poker (very popular among Asian gamblers), baccarat and the four new slots may be previewed on the company's free demonstration game site at www.chartwelltechnology.com.
