According to the Macau Daily Times, 9,000 candidates attended a two-day recruitment fair for the City of Dreams, James Packer’s multi-billion dollar joint venture.
The paper said that more than 9,000 people attended the fair to interview for 7,000 positions at the new casino project, which the opening, according to the Sydney Morning Herald, will likely be delayed until July instead of the original April opening date.
Job fair attendees told the Times that there was a scarcity of interview opportunities.
