CryptoLogic Makes Advances in Asia

CryptoLogic Ltd., an Irish online gaming software developer and supplier, has achieved major success in Asia via its partnership with Mahjong Time, an online mah-jongg software provider.

Recently, Mahjong Time penned a deal licensing agreement to gain access to 50 percent of China’s Internet cafes and a marketing presence in more than 20 provinces and 251 cities through an estimated 1,200 wholesale distributors.

“All of CryptoLogic's Asian investments are meeting or exceeding their targets -- and ours,” said Brian H. Hadfield, the company's chief executive. “We knew the global mah-jongg market had huge potential, and that potential is quickly turning into reality.”
