Internet gaming software developer CryptoLogic announced Monday that its software will power adult entertainment company Playboy Enterprises' new Internet poker site.
A three-year licensing agreement between CryptoLogic's subsidiary, WagerLogic, and Oceania Carbide Licensing NV, ensures CryptoLogic's position as exclusive software provider for the Playboy's fledgling poker site. The companies reached a similar agreement on May 10, en route to the eventual launch of Playboy's casino site.
CryptoLogic CEO Lewis Rose promises the software will bolster, if not expand, Playboy's already conspicuous market presence.
"Whether it's on TV, in print or online, Playboy is one of the world's premier entertainment brands," Rose said, "and Cryptologic's software can take it to new people and new places."
