Cyberbetz Opens to Public

3 September 1998

LAS VEGAS -- GIC Global Intertainment Corporation, (OTC BB:GGNC), a high-technology entertainment and marketing company specializing in Internet related technologies, officially launched Cyberbetz — its first Internet sportsbook and casino — September 1.

Cyberbetz (www.cyberbetz.com) is located in Rouseau in the Commonwealth of Dominica, and licensed by the government of Dominica. Its staff of 25 has been trained by individuals with over 30 years experience in the casino and sportsbook industries.

The new site features "The Ultimate Gamblers Guide," a reference tool designed to give amateur gamblers an overview of the rules and regulations of the most commonly played casino games. Guests can play for fun or for real money by downloading the casino software, which gives them access to a wide variety of virtual casino games, including blackjack, Jacks or Better, slots, roulette, Cyberstud Poker, baccarat, craps, Pai Gow, Sic Bo, keno and high-speed bingo. The sportsbook allows gamblers to place bets on amateur and professional football, basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer, boxing, motor sports, horse racing and dog racing.

GIC began trading on February 26, 1998, and began its promotional strategy on August 1. Since then, the average trading volume has risen to 30,000 shares per day, with the highest trading volume of 105,000 shares traded on August 27. It's also in the process of finalizing the acquisition of a second Internet sportsbook and casino—an established service in operation for over three years and profitable with over U.S. $30 million in revenues.

The company is focusing its marketing efforts primarily in Asia (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Malaysia), but in Australia and Europe as well. They plan to draw a competitive edge by issuing Cyberbetz Visa and Mastercard services, allowing customers to receive payment directly to their credit card accounts without delay.
