Considering the longtime fractured relationship between New Jersey and Nevada when it comes to gambling issues, it's no surprise that regulators in the two states hold very different views on Internet gambling. While Nevada has passed enabling legislation with the cooperation of the casino industry in that region, New Jersey's attempts to pass a similar bill have stagnated. And while Nevada regulators are looking to learn more about cyber casinos with an eye on legalization, New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement Director J.P. Suarez is looking for ways to stop them from offering their services to gamblers in his state.
