NOTE: The date of the hearing mentioned in this interview has changed from March 15 to March 8.
If State Rep. Jim Kasper has his way, North Dakota will be the first U.S. state to regulate Internet poker. Kasper's bill to legalize online poker in the state was passed in the House last week and will go before the Senate next month. Now he's asking the I-gaming industry for support and will bring representatives of the industry to Bismarck to testify in favor of the bill. In this audio interview with IGN's Sue Schneider, Kasper talks about why he wants to legalize online poker, why he thinks he can get it done and why he believes federal policies won't stand in the way of his efforts.
