Dissenting Views

On Monday, July 17, 245 members of the U.S. House of Representatives voted to pass H.R.3125, which would prohibit Internet gambling. The votes did not, however, comprise the required two-thirds majority. Following are some opinions opposing the passage of the bill. Some say it will infringe on the personal freedoms of Americans while stunting the growth of the Internet.
