DraftKings has announced that it has retained Exiger, a global regulatory risk and compliance firm, to conduct a review of all aspects of the company's financial, operational, compliance and risk controls, and to help develop best practices that ensure
DraftKings remains at the forefront of safety and consumer protection in the fantasy sports industry.

Roy Pollitt, a former FBI special agent, will lead Exiger's engagement with DraftKings. At the FBI, Pollitt focused on organized crime and complex money laundering schemes. Among other roles, Pollitt was the lead case agent in the United States government's seven-year investigation into the online gaming industry, which culminated in the prosecution of Full Tilt, PokerStars.com and Absolute Poker.

Exiger works with organizations and regulators around the world to assess compliance with defined best practices and other relevant mandates. Among its current assignments is the worldwide monitorship of a major international bank, for which Exiger is working on behalf of the United States Department of Justice and other regulators.
