4 February 2013
(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Social Gaming Association (the "Association") is pleased to announce its two latest memberships with Enteraction Limited, the world's leading B2B provider of social gaming technology, including its market leading GameShaper+ platform, joining as an Accredited Member and Alderney Gambling, the business development arm of the Government of Alderney and advisor to the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, joining as a Governmental Member.
Stuart Tilly, Director of the Association commented: "I'm delighted to welcome both Enteraction and Alderney Gambling to the Association. Enteraction is leading the way in the development and supply of socially responsible gaming platforms and is a true advocate of the levels of probity, honesty and integrity that we are trying to promote as the standard for the social gaming industry. I'm also very encouraged by Alderney Gambling's desire to learn more about the industry. We feel it's imperative that regulators, legislators and other policy makers take an informed and educated view when deciding upon what position to take on the industry and I'm pleased Alderney Gambling are taking such a proactive role in furthering this aim."
Andy Rogers, Managing Director of Enteraction added: "We share a lot of the same values and principles as championed by the SGA and it was clear to us that it was an association we wanted to be involved with. Our membership of the SGA is another sign of our commitment to supporting and promoting socially responsible initiatives."
Robin Le Prevost, Director of eCommerce Development at Alderney Gambling further added: "Alderney has always been regarded as the most progressive licensing jurisdiction and with the burgeoning growth in social gaming we are committed to learning more about this vibrant and dynamic industry. We feel the SGA will contribute greatly to our knowledge and understanding in this regard."
