EUBINGO Appoints New Officers

19 June 2008

EUBINGO, an organization composed of several of Europe's Bingo Associations, has appointed Javier Franch Cardona of the Spanish Association to serve as president for two years. Outgoing President, Sir Peter Fry of Great Britain's Association assumes the vice presidency and Italo Marcotti of the Italian Association takes over as secretary.

The officer changes took place at this week's Annual General Meeting in Brussels, at which a common position on online gambling and a code of conduct for responsible gambling were approved.

Established in 2006, EUBINGO represents the professional and social interests of national bingo associations before the institutions of Europe. Members include the Bingo Association of Great Britain, the Spanish Confederation of Organizations of Bingo Games Managers, the Italian Federbingo and the Star Bingo Group of Ireland.
