The free-to-play game, Ready Set Bet, allows players to get in on the action of their favorite sport and bet on plays in real-time, breaking the barriers of current daily fantasy sports (DFS) offerings. Available in FlowPlay's flagship social casino, Vegas World, players can place a bet on any drive in progress during all live professional football games, with the chance to win a virtual payout after each completed drive.
With 57.4 million North Americans projected to play fantasy sports this year (FSTA), fans are eager to become a part of the game and make predictions on the plays that lead their favorite teams to victory. While traditional fantasy sports experiences only allow fans to hand pick their 'perfect' team, there are very few legal alternatives that allow for more frequent bets and on more than just game outcomes. With live sports viewership and the popularity of fantasy play both growing (FSTA), fans are beginning to seek out these alternative options that allow them to place bets as the game unfolds.

Ready Set Bet offers gameplay betting based on the current drive or play for professional sports leagues, currently including football and baseball. Players can join at any point during a live game to place their bet as innings or drives take place. Bets are paid out with virtual currency and points are determined throughout the game, with the player with the most points at the end of the game declared the winner. One feature that sets Ready Set Bet apart from other betting tools are 'lightning bets,' which encourage players to bet on rapid gameplay situations that pop up throughout a game such as a fourth and short ruling or a challenge on the field. Originally launched as an exclusive preview for the Richard Sherman Celebrity Softball Game, Ready Set Bet will expand to include all professional sports as they are in season.
To calculate the outcome of gameplay, FlowPlay created a proprietary algorithm determining odds based on hundreds of thousands of situational data points for each sport.
