GameTech International Inc. has recently installed its server-based gaming system, GameTech Elite, in the United Kingdom, the company announced on Monday.
The installation comes after a successful launch of the product last week. According to GameTech, the installation, which supports 450 wireless devices in a single location, is the largest to date for the company. The new system combines session-based bingo with a new credit-based bingo game designed to be played between standard bingo sessions.
“The English market is one of the most advanced bingo markets in the world, and it is testimony to the flexibility of our server-based operating system that we can satisfy gaming requirements in four different countries,” said Jay Meilstrup, GameTech's president and chief executive, in a prepared statement.
