Gaming Win Falls in Nevada; Rises in Atlantic City

Casinos in Nevada won just over $1 billion from gamblers in April, which is a 5.1 percent decrease compared to the same month last year. Casinos in Atlantic City, on the other hand, experienced a win increase of 1.6 percent in the month of May compared to the same period last year.

On the Las Vegas Strip, which is the largest gambling market in the U.S. and takes the bulk of the action in Nevada, win was down 1.3 percent to $524.1 million in April.

In Atlantic City, the second largest gambling market in the U.S., table revenue increased by 9.5 percent in May while slot revenue fell by 1.5 percent.
