GLI Celebrates Grand Opening of Asia Lab

13 February 2009

Gaming Laboratories International’s expansion into Asia officially began with a grand opening, which included more than 55 regulators and dignitaries, the company announced last week.

The GLI Asia Interoperability and Testing Center plans to serve mainland China for lottery, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan. The gaming tester said it has already begun to work in with some of those markets.

“Our goal was to have more than just a testing laboratory or a ‘Macau office,’” said Larry Xiao, GLI Asia’s general manager, in a prepared statement. “Our goal was to establish an Asian base for GLI, which we now have.”
