Gtech Corporation has signed a 10-year contract with the Kansas Lottery to supply and operate video central system that will monitor electronic gaming machines at up to six gaming facilities in the state.
Under the contract, which is expected to generate revenues for Gtech of approximately $20 million over the contract term, Gtech, working with its subsidiary SPIELO Manufacturing ULC, will install the Company's latest video central system, INTELLIGEN, and provide ongoing services to the Kansas Lottery including operation and maintenance of the system. The system is expected to be operational by mid-2009.
