(PRESS RELEASE) -- GVC has unveiled a substantial update to its poker product line with the introduction of multi table gameplay and other enhancements to the player experience within its mobile apps. The significant upgrade, available on iOS and Android, allows players to take part in up to four games at any one time.
The new apps represent a complete overhaul of Company's existing mobile offer and demonstrate GVC's commitment to invest and innovate in the poker platform which it took on as part of the its acquisition of bwin.party on Feb. 1, 2016.
Launched on the Group's flagship poker brand,
Party Poker, earlier this month, the upgrade will be rolled-out to the Company's other gaming brands, including
bwin Sportsbook & Racebook, its premier sports betting brand, later in the year. The new mobile platform will also be offered by a select number of partners to whom GVC provides B2B gaming services and will form part of the Group's broader B2B gaming offer.
Following a period of under-investment in the segment, the new release brings the Group's mobile poker offer to the leading edge of the industry, containing as it does, a number of state-of-the-art features and user experience improvements. Players can enjoy up to four tables at one time with a mix of cash games and tournament play, while they benefit from a unique new mini table view with quick
fold functionality and a new customizable bet slider. Further enhancements will be added throughout the year.
Key additional features available include:
- Swipe or tap between tables – no need to visit the lobby
- Add similar – grab a seat at another table in one tap
- Table alerts – never miss a hand again
- Back to table button – one button and you're back in your seat
- Table design – new, clean table layout
- Bet slider – fully customizable
