When IGamingNews asked industry members to disclose their favorite things, we received many varied responses -- from a history book to a dog named Phillip. Now we turn the microscope inward to examine what those at Clarion Gaming’s American office truly enjoy.

Dawn Kirkwood (head of conferences -- Americas): My dogs.

Holly Rauch (digital sales executive): What’s better than a loving home complete with a small army of rescued animals and, of course, my husband, Marty, the school teacher by day, rapper by night?!

Nancy Krause (head of conference sales): This job has given me the opportunity to travel and see parts of the world I never dreamed I would ever see. It’s been wonderful. But my favorite thing is summer ladies golf league; we have a blast and get to beat the hell out of a little white ball. I’m actually getting somewhat decent at the game.

Sue Schneider (instigator): Every time I asked my mom what she wanted for Christmas when she was alive, she’d always say “four good kids.” Unfortunately, she rarely got that ;-). So, I try to keep up that tradition when asked. I’d like “two good kids, two good grandkids.” We’ll see.

Tony Boschert (account manager): A few things I am thankful for … A bluebird day and après ski in Vail, Colo., and card playing with the family at Christmas. (Should these be considered games of skill? I’ll check with each state and get back with you.)

Mariah Echele (head of administrative operations): 1.) A good book that makes me stay up all night reading. 2.) chocolate

Joya Schneider (office manager / administrative assistant): I love my family and friends; I love my cats and dog.

Emily Swoboda (senior staff writer): My niece, Amelia’s, hilarious imagination, buying wine based on the label, not on the vintage (Sauvignon Blanc please), my cat wearing stupid hats.

Chris Krafcik (editor): Reading, rock climbing and Imo's pizza.

Jeanette Kozlowski (staff writer): My black cat, Mr. Béla Lugosi, my Macbook and valet parking.

Dan Fitzgerald (operations coordinator): My favs are acoustic guitar music, text messaging and college basketball.

Mark Balestra (head of digital publications): I'm fond of the Sesame Street Elmo's World DVD series for its hypnotic calming powers over Charles. I like Chris' beard because it's full of surprises. I like Emily's boots -- just because.

Lenny Impellizzeri (director of I.T. services): Golf, movies and work.

Rosalee Echele (executive placement coordinator): Family, travel and Panera's cinnamon crunch bagels.
