If you've been involved in the industry any time at all, chances are you've had a chance to meet Stephen Fein. IGN is saddened to learn that Steve collapsed in his office Friday afternoon (Jan. 3, '03) and died. Clearly, Steve was one of our industry's most knowledgeable experts when it came to payment solutions. As we often did, many of you probably had conversations with him to take advantage of his expertise, analysis and thoughtful ideas on meaningful solutions to our always thorny payment problems. He also served as Treasurer and Executive Committee member of the Interactive Gaming Council, always willing to provide leadership as needed. Steve leaves behind a saddened family, long-standing business partner, Lisa Matthews, and many friends who will miss him very much.
