AI-Driven affiliate recruitment strategies under the microscopeiGB L!VE London will feature the first AI-focused iGB Affiliate Manager Academy which will be held July 1 as part of London iGaming Week.

Naomi Barton - Global Portfolio Director for Clarion
The training and mentorship program, which is being curated in partnership with Affiverse, founded by veteran affiliate marketer Lee-Ann Johnstone - and which guides businesses on how to launch, scale and grow successful affiliate programs, has been designed to help organizations of all sizes understand how to leverage new tactics and simple AI tools to recruit, retain and activate affiliates more effectively.
The Academy will offer a mix of practical learning, tactical assessments and personalized coaching providing affiliate managers with an invaluable opportunity to learn from industry leaders. Each unique session will include topical insights drawing on the dominant trends in the market.
Looking ahead to the Academy Lee-Ann Johnstone noted: “In an industry that’s constantly evolving, and which is powered by the early adoption of new technologies, businesses and affiliate managers have to keep learning in order to remain competitive. The gap between AI-empowered affiliate managers and those relying solely on traditional methods is widening every month. The iGB Affiliate Manager Academy will provide the bridge to ensure businesses are on the right side of that divide.”
Naomi Barton, Global Portfolio Director responsible for iGB L!VE said: “Our live events are all about delivering real value to our international community of stakeholders. The Academy will provide insider access to the exact AI-driven techniques that are assisting brands to deliver real results. Most significantly this isn’t just theory — instead it’s a hands-on expert-led roadmap focusing on immediately implementable tactics that will transform program performance.”

Broadcaster and musician Myleene Klass MBE will host the 2025 iGB Affiliate Awards
Celebrating the achievements and innovations of the iGaming affiliate community, the Awards are being held at the Troxy, a stunning Art Deco masterpiece situated in the heart of fashionable East London.
Tickets for the black-tie event comprising a drinks reception, three-course sit-down dinner and live music, range from individual places and half tables, through to a choice of VIP hospitality and sponsorship options.
Stephen Carter, Clarion Gaming’s Head of Affiliate Content and internal judging lead, believes the popularity of the Awards continues to grow thanks to its reputation for integrity and transparency. He stated, “Our external industry judges are selected for their expertise on both the iGaming affiliate sector and in specialist areas pertaining to individual awards, such as safer gambling. They are also required to sign an NDA to keep all submitted information confidential and to declare any potential conflicts of interest. The industry respects the fact that every winning submission has succeeded entirely on its merits.”
He added: “Judgable submissions are up more than 4% year-on-year with the most hotly contested category - based on the number of nominations - being Best Affiliate Program. The fastest growing category is Best Affiliate Network, up 79%, with Best Digital Agency, Affiliate Idol and Best Newcomer representing the other key growth categories.
“Due to the quality of submissions received from non-affiliate businesses for the Marketing Campaign of the Year category, we have created an additional award to recognize the best campaign by an affiliate program or network in 2024. We have also experienced strong traction for the new Best Affiliate Management Platform category, with most of the leading and all of the fastest-growing providers having thrown their hats in the ring.”
The iGB Affiliate Awards will open with a Drinks Reception (19:00), Dinner and Awards Ceremony (20:00), Live Music and Entertainment (23:00), Carriages (02:00).

The influential Summit represents a must attend for start-up businesses and will facilitate introductions to top-tier venture capital, private equity and institutional investors. Curated in partnership with Defy the Odds, a specialist startup accelerator founded by Kelly Kehn, Paris Smith, and Sue Schneider, it will feature private networking, roundtable discussions and panels providing the leaders of early-stage businesses with the insights and connections to help take their enterprises from concept to execution.
Expanding on the role of the Summit, Naomi Barton, Clarion Gaming’s Global Portfolio Director said, “We know from working with the start-up community that new businesses struggle with securing funding, meeting mentors and entering the industry. Equally, investors lack a centralized, professional and sympathetic environment where they can connect with talented entrepreneurs and gain early access to iGaming’s cutting-edge start-ups.
“In order to bring these two important communities together we have created a high-value networking environment where start-up enterprises can meet with iGaming founders, spark new partnerships and potentially attract long-term investment. The Start-Up Summit reflects iGB L!VE’s status as the go to platform for new entrepreneurial businesses which are the future of iGaming.”
