The idea of operating an online casino is steadily becoming more irresistible in the States and the walls between the Internet and traditional media are crumbling. The latest company to take the plunge is Jackpot Entertainment Magazine Inc., which has signed a deal to run an online casino using Go Call Inc.'s turnkey Internet gaming system.
Jackpot Entertainment Magazine Inc. is a trade magazine that's distributed to casino players, employees, executives, and vendors throughout the United States. As a Go Call franchisee, Jackpot will provide 17 casino games and technical support 24 hours a day.
Go Cash, a wholly owned subsidiary of Go Call Inc., will accept, process and manage all wagers through a secure on-line transaction system, which allows players to use credit cards. Players may also deposit funds by bank wire or forward money orders and certified checks.
Go Call will receive a $100,000 franchise fee and an on-going royalty fee on overall wagers and transactions processed by the franchisee. The company also announced plans for entering into similar franchise agreements with celebrities and other organizations.
