After a short illness, Nigel Booth, a veteran of the coin machine industry, died last week at the age of 75.
Throughout his life, Mr. Booth spent a majority, 45 years, in the coin machine industry. Before retiring in 1995, he worked for Phonographic (which later became Associated Leisure), London Coin and, most recently, Electrocoin.
"Nigel will be sadly missed by his many friends in the industry, one in which he was a leading force and a member of an elite few industry greats," wrote Michael Green, UDC sales director, in an obituary.
The funeral will be held on Aug. 11 in West Sussex.
