International Game Technology, slot machine and casino system manufacturer, announced last week that its chief operating officer, Steve W. Morrow, will resign and Thomas J. Matthews, chief executive and president, will take on his duties Sept. 27.
Mr. Morrow had been named C.O.O. in June 2007 and at the time he had been president of the gaming division since 2005.
